VR could be such a great tool for 3D art. When I made stuff on Dreams for PS4, I always modeled, built environments, and animated in VR because having the sense of scale and the physicality of the controls made building things much more natural than a keyboard and mouse ever could. (2/2)

VR Productivity and the way Meta imagined it was so flawed. They imagined work in VR as conference rooms and typing documents, stuff that is better done on a laptop. They never actually thought about what being in a 3D space with hand tracked controllers. (1/2)

Really need sites and reporting to stop peddling the “wow tiny team made a big game!” Myth and ignoring all the contractors. Particularly when the devs themselves are very open and credit all the people who worked on the game.

The psvr2 controllers are so weird. The shape of them makes it hard to find where to hold them with the headset on, but it gets a pass cause they look so cool. Also the grip is a button instead of an analog trigger like on the quest, but the touch sensor is so good it works like an analog trigger.
