I was asked to draw the cover for my hometown's magazine commemorating the Segavecchia festival, a celebration of Spring of likely pagan origins held yearly halfway through Lent, and codified in the 1450s.

we'd be in agreement there. this excerpt is from osamu tezuka's 1969 manga I.L and depicts intra-communist satire by the state animators in a pretend warsaw-pact country (but obviously czechoslovakia). but that's neither here nor there. i posted it because i like the way he draws wolves
