Two words: Too expensive
02.10.2025 10:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0@xbox.com you best reverse the recent @gamepass.xbox.com price changes for the UK.
Take Ubisoft and that Fortnite back out and make them optional. Bring it back down to the current prices π¬π¬
Who the fuck asked for these changes ? Absolutely fucking no one π
That's quite a bold assumption, react-native has never felt more native after ditching the previous js bridge.
The new architecture is only going to push it further and further.
In case you missed that the same @storybook.js.org great DX is coming to React Native..... π
Of course, if you can't render your RN components with RN Web, you'll miss what you get from Chromatic but... @dannyhw.com is cooking, look at this bsky.app/profile/nori...
Really excited that I got the chance to write a post for the Expo blog. Thanks so much to expo for the opportunity.
This is also the first time I wrote about sharing React Native Storybook. I spent a long time to find an easy approach. (The trick is eas submit and test flight)
Awesome post π
I still remember when react native and storybook was brand new thing π
It's come a hell of a long way, hat off to you @dannyhw.com π keep up the amazing work πͺ
Or setup A dev client and download that to your device.
27.09.2025 18:56 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Seems like a styled-components API which is nice.
How does this compare to other similar tools in the eco system e.g. react-native-unistyles ?
Shame android doesn't have an equivalent yet.
I was just curious as you often need to support both iOS and Android not iOS.
How would this look on Android ?
12.09.2025 21:57 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Look's like it only supports iOS at the moment ?What about Android peeps ?
This could help me deploy my first mobile app, I've been putting deployments off as they can be a pain from what I've seen.
I'm starting to really like @shadcn.com for building component libraries.
You own the code yourself and you can extend it as much as you need. No weird or quick hacks to get something working correctly.
@cursor.com.web.brid.gy helped out a lot with getting this working, I needed to give it a link to the docs and an actual working example.
It handled it pretty well overall, I don't want to look at how many tokens it consumed to get this working πππ
So yeah I just tried out @tanstack.com ranger library....
I'll be honest I've not heard anything about this library in a long time, it seems it's in a stable release now which is cool π₯
I managed to put together a single an dual slider component

Just setting up my first monorepo with turbo, everything looks good so far.
I have a question about using @storybook.js.org in a monorepo. What's the way to share storybook configuration and dependencies if you have multiple storybook instances ?
The 3D stuff looks cool, are the 3D files pretty beefy ?
I'm just wondering how this could be applied in a real world situation π
Damn that's slick, one to keep an eye on
Is it restricted to only Github or could you also have your project on something like Azure DevOps ?
Damn this looks slick.
So technically speaking I could set up a workflow to deploy my iOS and android app when I push to main ?
First time seeing this functionality π
I got told it's to make tests less brittle.
02.06.2025 22:26 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Do you have an example?
31.05.2025 16:36 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I'm sure this has been fixed, I'm subscribed to the main issue around this.
31.05.2025 01:20 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Been using Cursor for an Expo/React Native app, and itβs awesome at the start, but the more you get into the nitty gritty design the more you need to either a.) manually do or b.) be super super super specific with prompts, in my experience.. otherwiseβ¦
15.05.2025 20:08 β π 6 π 2 π¬ 1 π 0That's quite accurate, I've not used it for react native but this can apply to most projects
Don't let it guide you you should guide it, most of the time it sends me down a rabbit hole or two π
Hereβs how I handle keyboard avoidance in React Native π
The keyboard covering your inputs is one of the most annoying UX issues on mobile. In this video, I show how I use react-native-keyboard-controller with reanimated to smoothly avoid this problem
