New post update! Sandsnare has been given a little tweak to how she works. No longer does she rapidly digest the player, but instead she's gotten quite a bit more teasing with livings, no thanks to Tsughos' contract on the rodent. Aleiza's spellcasting isn't quite as good as other adventurers but unique to her is her soul manifesting as her wand! As she sucks up ghosts, it will evolve into more intricate shapes until it becomes a snowy whirlwind!

An update for Aleiza's Ascent, Seraph's goop trap has gotten a bit of a tweak; don't stick around for too long or something will stick to YOU instead. One of the more unorthodox ways to be defeated, the slime will eventually become living and encase any who remain trapped in its pool.

And to make up for the lack of communication, have another! Fewmi's gimmick has been almost entirely reworked. Instead of the ever-problematic Sicken, instead that flame ignites rather troublesome thoughts, distracting and letting other ghosts join in on the immobilized rat. #GhostsAndJapes

since it's been a hot minute since last update, here's a little teaser for a vanilla ghost change. Thanks to @soulcatcher42.bsky.social , Lamply has a new trick up her sleeve for capturing her precious darlings. Better be careful or you're going to experience a tight fit! #GhostsAndJapes

one notable example is everyone's favorite(derogatory) evil plushie. Here, they seem to have... mellowed out? Without a Japes to harass and the overall atmosphere being lighter, perhaps they have finally learned to co-exist with the ghosts?

In Aleiza's Ascent, many ghosts will have some alterations to them, mixing up the experience through the hungry mansion. Some ghosts have new animations, some had adjusted abilities and some are almost entirely different! Here are a few teasers~ #GhostsAndJapes

Here we have the reason our little rat is in the mansion; her girlfriend Verina! A powerful mage who has gone missing during their training. She's probably fine in the mansion... However, there seems to be someone similar to her roaming the halls... #GhostsAndJapes

May as well provide a little intro to Aleiza's Ascent, like "who even IS Aleiza?" Well, she is a Teiri, a species of rat that grow stronger under the full moon, and a werebeast, why she looks relatively humanoid. As a werebeast, her body is a tad unstable and prone to transforming! #GhostsAndJapes

Hopefully I'll get this done sometime this year but with ADHD, having to do completely new ways some ghosts interact and gameplay balances, I definitely have my work cut out for me.

Endosoma will be its base but there will be something for just about everyone, even beyond vore(2/?)

After a long-winded hiatus and putting myself back on track, my Ghosts & Japes mod, Vivi, is up to v1.2! With a fresh coat of paint, softer sounds and more fluid animations, I hope she is a fun ghost for you to play with!

...On top of that, she seems to have a new form that lurks deep in the dark!
