it was quick and my muscles are practically atrophied from lack of use, but i did it!!!

i need to find some low impact exercises to strengthen my legs and back. i always end up just doing squats lol.

for some reason i thought it was november, but nope. my brother physically assaulted me, and that was the end of that.

i never even said i was going no contact. just…stopped. and in that entire decade, my email and phone number have been the same. no one’s ever reached out.

it makes me really resentful that all the advice i got for the past 8 years is “move more” “do physical activity” “exercise.” suddenly when the heart monitor was on me, it changed to “for the love of god, stop moving.”

my first night in the hospital, a bunch of staff burst into my room because my heart rate jumped up to the 190s simply by standing and walking 5 steps to the bathroom.

now i can go up two flights of stairs to my apartment, and my heart barely hits 100bpm. this is WILD.

i have rsvped for a social event where i don’t know anybody. very much out of my comfort zone.

i got Ethiopian tonight! i’ve only had it once, and only vegetarian, so tonight i tried meat. doro wat that came with collard greens and green beans/carrotd, and yesiga sambusa (beef stuffed pastries, which are SO good, i love the sauce it comes with!)

i haven’t been able to buy honeycrisp apples in a long time because they’re so much more expensive than other apples, but the price finally came down so i bought a huge bag, and i swear to you, each apple i’ve eaten is the BEST APPLE OF MY LIFE. they have all been SO good.
