I brought him my chili last week.
He was on SNAP, I was determined to help him any way I could through all this, even if he could never admit that he needed the help...

I never heard back about how my chili was....

I catch myself about to text him, or talking with people that I'd let him know about something.
But he..... isn't anymore.

He's been an absolute anchor in my life.
He'd always stop to tell me how proud he was of me and how much he'd loved me.
He'd always try to make me happy and support me, even if we were on separate wavelengths.
He wasn't perfect, but no one is.

My dad is.... gone.
Passed away this morning.
He had a massive heart attack yesterday.
It's all so sudden T.T

The ham and cheese sliders I brought to the Halloween potluck last night at work were a very big hit. There was barely any by the time lunch came around ^^;

An anthro Collie's paw extends from a strange void, its grasping digits wanting to clamp down on the defenseless, small, and immobile raccoon on a scale. I am that raccoon. I sit in with an expression of fear and some delight having been made my partner's stress toy to feed and squeeze. A book in front of me reads, "How to Grow Raccs" and my glasses and flower I usually wear are in front of me as well, much larger than I'm used to in my shrunken down state. Food, candles, and a skull decorate the periphery like some otherworldly ritual is taking place.

One of my partners decided I didn't get to go home. He decided I'd stay put at his place, shrunken, weighed down by pastries and fruit that dwarfed my size absurdly. I gave up on escape a while ago 😩
