Instead of being pulled under by this feeling of despair and hopelessness, getting out there and using your voice just makes you feel better. It riles you up and makes you take more action. Local elections matter and everyone can truly make a difference in those.

I know a lot of people don't see the value in a protest like today. I know Elon won't hear our voices but it still does makes our point.

So between that and seeing all the police Abby was a bit nervous at first. Thankfully the kindness of people quickly alleviated any concerns she had and it was all smiles from her after that. We met some amazing people, saw some great signs and enjoyed our right to peacefully assemble.

But as soon as we get out of our cars 2 Trumpers see our Pride flag she is holding and yells out "grab 'en by the pussy!" 🤬 I not so kindly let them know she's only 13 and they are disgusting.

We had a big talk on the way there about how to peacefully protest. I explained the rules, what the permit allows, and most importantly to NOT engage with the counter protestors.

Abby attended her first protest today. It was at the Tesla dealership and had a great turnout (about 600 people).
