GPs have lost out from NHS funding moving 'wrong way', minister admits GPs and primary care services have lost out on NHS funding over the past decade because it has gone the ‘wrong way’ into hospitals, a government health minister has admitted.

GP practice funding £/patient has fallen £42 per patient in real terms in 10 years

Enough for an average practice to employ 2 GPs, a Nurse and 2 admin staff.

3000 recruits but not retained, there were 8000 finishing training since the election
The actual increase is more like 1000 NOT 3000
The waiting list is down due to removals not work done.
