How I'm doing it in particular is
3+ = MOTYC
2.75+ = WOTY
2.5+ = Will end up in recommendations since it's just one promotion anyway.
In this case, I don't believe in average, but rather good and not good. Anything below 2 is stuff I don't think is particularly too good.
Rating off of vibes, here, since numbers are arbitrary and can be what I want them to be, and this is the first show. Yuki Ishikawa and Daisuke Ikeda barely miss a "WOTY case contender" match in my eyes, as I'm adding 2.75+ to a WOTY case.
I'm actually starting with 96-00, the sheet is looking to be pretty extensive
