Happy Sunday. So happy my wife is back home and she can rest before she returns to work. Sitting here with Lilly before we run out to Ulta and the Costco madness in about an hour.

Good morning to the 4am club. Wife still sleeping with the pups after a very long day of travel yesterday. Had to turn the fireplace on to burn off the morning chill. One thing we DO miss of the former home is our heated floors throughout. Crawlspace floors are chilly in the fall & winter mornings!

My hunny comes home today! Have been busy prepping for it too. Fresh sheets, vacuuming, wiping, cleaning, and working on the upstairs wall patching. Have a few morning errands so she can just relax and snuggle when she arrives.

I'd turn down being given this 1000% of the time. Even if I have to shortchange myself to do so

FRIYAY!!! Have my chili prepped ready for an all day slow simmer and a 2nd load of laundry is already in washer. All that and barely 5am. My wife returns after 11 days away tomorrow so want her to have all her comforts so she can relax in the peace of no babies or toddlers. Poor lady is exhausted!

Already a busy morning. Lowes, gas, groceries, and my new medical card. Did have to get a warm Krispy Kreme donut tho🙈
Now letting it warm a bit then into the yard for some outside chores. Plenty of time for a nap although the dogs let me sleep a bit later since it's the weekend.
