I probably won't deviate this scenario too much at this point, but Layla does enjoy being transformed (she did willingly get turned into a golem in a previous work for example), so your alternative version could definitely play out as well.

Could always split her up into smaller cubes too :p

Unfortunately for Layla, I won't hold back on the bad ends with her :p

Could always engrave those features back after a while. Just remember to match the original sides... or don't ;p
