If you weren’t already aware, on the 6th and 7th of Dec in Strasbourg, France, Dinoël is returning. This amazing event is similar to DinoCon in its objectives and a wonderful opportunity to explore the creative side of palaeontology through palaeo-art and workshops.

Almost a week on, and I had a simply AMAZING weekend at the first ever @dinoconuk.bsky.social! Ahhhhh!!! I can't believe how well it went!!! So many nice people! So many great stalls! So many fantastic talks and workshops! It was incredible and I can't wait for next year!!! #FossilFriday #paleoart

Whilst the memories are still fresh, time for some (probably rambling) reflections on the inaugural DinoCon. There are so many people I’d like to mention by name, but I’m terrified of forgetting someone. But some are simply too important not to mention, so I’ll begin with them (1/n)

The first ever @dinoconuk.bsky.social has ended here in Exeter and here are a few images from the Palaeoart Workshops. Some truly wonderful art was produced by some incredibly talented people!

For attendees who happen to be nearby the venue tomorrow, there will be an opportunity for early check-in and to collect your lanyards from 5-7pm!
