Because I know and adore several Palaeobotanists, the fallen Astrodon display has got much more colourful! Once it’s finished this display is one of two pieces I’m contributing to the @dinoconuk.bsky.social charity auction! Few little tweaks here and there but pretty happy with it! 🏴‍☠️🖤🦖

There’s a few modern animatronics and more recent sculpts along with a glorious assortment of retrotastic gems! I also love how they keep updating the paint work on the figures so they vary visit to visit. The lush greenery really helps too

Opened in 1994 Wales second most well known Dinosaur Park is located in Tenby and it’s always a joy checking out incredible vintage and retro restorations of the past. It’s also set in beautiful surroundings with probably close to a hundred models or so.

almost finished, with its jaws freshly bloodied from bringing down the Astrodon! Wanted something fairly subtle but for the narrative of the scene the teeth and jaws of this adult female needed to show the methods she used to dispatch her titanic prey… 🏴‍☠️🦖

Todays progress on the @dinoconuk.bsky.social auction piece number two, the adult Acrocanthosaurus is coming along well, this massive and robust theropod rivalled even the largest Tyrannosaurs in length and feeling happy with the progress so far! Can’t wait for August 16th-17th in Exeter!! 🏴‍☠️🖤🦖
