Maryland has lacked leadership identity this season. Solomon Washington, IMO, tried to claim some of that in the postgame.

“I'm more concerned about the effort. We always get discouraged anytime a team goes on a run. We’ve got to stop that. It’s basketball.”

Terps need more toughness on the glass, Washington says. "Rebounding's not a skill, it's about effort."

"You really have to value every possession in the Big Ten," Andre Mills says.

"Teams in the Big Ten play ball screens a lot, thats something to [always look for]," says Darius Adams.

"I was very appreciative" Maryland coach Buzz Williams says of today's students and crowd, which was the best he's experienced at home so far in his words.
