I just finished Act 1, and it's already made me gasp and reduced me to tears.

The story is really imaginative and well told, and they really nailed the character expressions and mannerisms.

Cover art for the game Clair Obscur, showing several people with their backs to the viewer, looking towards a structure with 33 emblazoned over it in gold numbers.

I grabbed Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 for £10 to see what the fuss was about, as I'm not normally a fan of FF style turn-based combat games.

Damn, this is good.

The Labour government hates children domestically, murders them abroad, and subjects trans children to both.

Tapping the sign, on IWD, if your feminism isn’t intersectional and that must include trans women, you’re not a feminist

“Gender-critical” transphobia now costs every woman athlete £185 if they want to compete in an international competition.

Well done transphobes, this is your doing and no-one else’s. Trans people have long been saying that transphobia would harm cis women. We were right, people just don’t listen.

There's a lot of other factors.

For example, many people assume AI wrote something if they see an em dash, because earlier models used em dashes a lot.

That's a real pain for professional writers who use em dashes (see my prior post).

With the, "It's not <X>, it's <Y>!" pattern?

The problem with any ways of spotting gen AI is that the LLM has taken all of the things humanity has written and smooshed them together, looking for the most common/correct patterns.

It was trained on a lot of professional writing, hence all the emdash

My placard from the London Trans+ Pride protest march last year!

This is an important article, especially as the mainstream media in the UK frequently reports that everything is fine and transgender people are just making a fuss.

When you're sending out an email to all members, celebrating an important victory, it feels like using AI to write that email robs us of all the humanity and work that real people have put in.

We're already members, so there's no need for perfect marketing copy.

Please just be authentic.

These checker services aren't always correct (they sometimes flag professional writers for not making mistakes), but they're a decent fallback check.

Screenshot of an email from Zack Polanski and the Green Party that seems to be AI generated.

Really disappointed that the email I received from @zackpolanski.bsky.social and the @greenparty.org.uk seems to be AI generated.

The circled phase is such a giveaway once you recognise the patterns that AI generates.

Please can we be better?

I say that as a member and advocate. 💚

A comic panel of a polling station with a queue of robots waiting to vote and a man telling them, "SOCIAL MEDIA BOTS DON'T GET TO VOTE IN ACTUAL ELECTIONS!"

The last speech has ended, and the protest is ending with a few protest chants such as "trans rights are human rights!"

A speech about mainstream media representation (the lack thereof)

A speech has been made about media bias - mainstream media not presenting trans voices, protests or prides, but willingly presenting Tommy Robinson's march.

We're in Nottingham today to live report on this.

The RCP have arrived early, setting up a small stand next to the nearby White Rose store.

In her presentation, Kilgannon mapped out three non-negotiables in the fight against the so-called gender identity agenda, a conspiracy theory touted by anti-LGBT groups that disavows sexual orientation and gender identity. The first is to “divide and conquer. For all its recent success, the LGBT alliance is actually fragile and the trans activists need the gay rights movement to help legitimize them.” In other words, separate trans activists from the gay rights movement, and their agenda becomes much easier to oppose. As Kilgannon explained, “Trans and gender identity are a tough sell, so focus on gender identity to divide and conquer.” For many, “gender identity on its own is just a bridge too far. If we separate the T from the alphabet soup we’ll have more success.”

Kilgannon identified a wide coalition of potential allies outside the Christian Right who could confront trans friendly measures. Here’s her advice on how to draw them in:

Explain that gender identity rights only come at the expense of others: women, sexual assault survivors, female athletes forced to compete against men and boys, ethnic minorities who culturally value modesty, economically challenged children who face many barriers to educational success and don’t need another level of chaos in their lives, children with anxiety disorders and the list goes on and on and on.

LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE MOVE IN THE ANTI-TRANS GAME IS DESCRIBED IN DETAIL AT THIS VERY PUBLIC CONVENTION THAT THEY HELD

And there are cis people out there who still think the anti-trans movement was somehow a natural, grassroots expression of legitimate issues.

The EHRC has met regularly with transphobic hate groups over the last five years but not once with any trans-led organisations.

It is neither an equalities nor a human rights organisation, it is a transphobic hate group.

My partner recently lost his job and I am still unable to find work. If you've ever used the Combat Wheelchair in any way, please consider tipping me on Ko-Fi. It would really help a lot. Thanks 💜

Yeah, for real.

My most recent tattoo, the artist warned me could be painful due to the placement.

I just smiled and relaxed. It was nothing compared to electrolysis on the upper lip.

All the people being apologists for associates of Epstein—aren't you the same people who scream "think of the children" any time a trans person is mentioned?

I did offer him a way for the character to continue play, but as the player put it - it's the point of flaws, eventually they kick in.

I'll miss the quirky druid, but I'm also really looking forward to meeting his new character as we approach the mid point of the campaign.
