Nils Göran Larsson will take the stage at Euromit congress in Angers on Monday June 1, 2026 during the first session about Mitochondrial structure and function, dysfunction. Nils Göran-Larsson is a professor at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden, and former director of the Max-Planck Institute for biology of ageing in Cologne, Germany. His research centers on mitochondrial biology, in particular how mitochondrial dysfunction contributes to human disease and aging. His works explore the regulation of mitochondrial function and biogenesis, as well as the molecular mechanisms underlying mtDNA expression.
