Piece of an unfinished project — v2 of my Dnipro tram map.
In v1 (cv.zaytsev.io/projects/dni...), it isn't obvious where the city center is. The big ring grabs way too much attention.
In v2, there's a subtle grid with central streets and green areas, which makes finding the center much easier.

I wanted a budgeting tool that wouldn't force me to add extra stuff (categories, accounts, etc.) each time I added an expense.
I also wanted tracking to be meaningful. Knowing I spent $97 on coffee last month was useless. I just wanted to stay within my means.
That's exactly how it works in Sintra

In 2019, my friend and I built a budgeting service. It's called Sintra.
We barely marketed it, and it's been quiet for a while. But people still find it and tell us they love it. So we've been working hard to add an English version to make it accessible to more people.
Can't wait to share it soon!

Also, since 2021, Polish law requires drivers to yield not only to pedestrians on the crossing, but also to those entering it.
These changes worked miracles. Drivers stop politely even when there's no police in sight.

TIL that in Poland, the fine for failing to yield to a pedestrian on a crossing is PLN 1500 (~$410). If you do it again, it's PLN 3000 (~$820).
That's ~50x / 100x more than in Ukraine (~$8).

Finally discovering Vim — just don't want to be stuck when it opens and I can't edit the file. Love the learning process with Neovim's `:Tutor`!

Yeah, I open a new tab, type an alias command and hit Enter, but the updater intervenes and cuts off the first letter. Happens all the time :)
