Are French, German, Dutch, Scandinavian Governments randomly imprisoning opponents because they don't have juries?

Although to be fair, many other countries do not use the Anglo Saxon style of trial by jury.
And I don't think you can argue that the judiciary in Scandinavian countries, Germany, France the Netherlands are necessary inferior.
