It was traumatizing and i did feel a lot of shame afterwards especially because i wasted a whole damn scholarship and and my parents and blah blah but i'm mostly over it. It took me a bit to start putting myself out there as an artist again but i'm happy to be here and hope to keep growing!

Fast forward like a year later or so i got a full ride scholarship for the only local private school that taught the arts. Unfortunately some at-home circumstances put me in a really bad place mentally and i started performing so badly and embarrassing myself i just dropped out altogether

I'd already gotten accepted to college for psychology but one day when i was out with my sister i told her i wanted to be an artist but didn't feel adequate for it. She just said "you are an artist" and for some reason that stuck with me

The biggest hurdle for me has def been depth. I struggle a lot with posing + composition prob due to the fact that i have trouble 'visualizing' form/how a subject interacts with space. I try to be conscious of it but it's tough when it doesn't come naturally to me at all
