After I lost Callie, I went through a similar situation and feeling, but told myself there’s so many little cats at the shelter who need someone to give them the kind of life I gave Calliope - and now I have another calico named Lyra. Totally different personality, but just as much love 🩵

I gave her the best life I possibly could with oodles of love & she’s forever the inspiration for my art 🩵
