I mean, honestly, it seems like Pearl Harbor is a great analog to what we just did to Iran--a sneak attack intended* to wipe out an enemy's fighting capabilities while negotiations were ongoing, with no land component at all.

*I mean, admmittedly, who knows what we "intend" here.

These people are unleashing havoc and tragedy around the world and domestically. But the vibe to me seems like a regime with very keen awareness of personal mortality and/or a window for action closing, with a desire to plow through a to-do list come what may and regardless of odds of success.

Well, we're still waiting on our YR4 data from Thursday, we're told due to software upgrades rather than a problem. So, if it comes down in anything like the order that it was taken it may be a while for you. ;)
