The market has shifted less from buying out of interest and more into buying with strategy.

We are all feeling it.

Just let people enjoy what they choose to buy/play, as long as they're not actively hurting anyone. Please.

For example, I would love to play the newest Metroid or Story of Seasons. Kirby Air Riders was one of my favorite games growing up. But I don't own any of those because I can't justify the amount of gameplay I'd get with the prices.

Hell, we sold an old phone to be able to afford Pokopia's preorder

I know $70 and $80 games are expensive. That's why most of the games I play are indie. But if there's a game that I feel is worth it for me, like Pokopia, I will find a way to buy it. Please don't assume I'm ignorant of the financial hardship the new market is placing on all of us.

The haters in my comments don't bother me emotionally, but they bother my neurodivergence. If you don't like something, why waste your precious time on it more by crafting a message? Just scroll past.
