I like using fresh thyme, and fresh basil. When I use basil, it's the last ingredient added.

I use very little oil. The same process can be used for mushrooms. The oil is ready when a small piece of onion dropped into pot sizzles immediately. I use high heat and stir constantly. The prep could take time if you're chopping manually. Using food processor (for onions and peppers) is fine too.

Maybe dried, pulverized shrimps were used. You can add them to this too. I don't measure quantities & hope this helps. Chop veggies. Heat oil in pot. Add spices (thyme, curry, white pepper to taste). Add vegetable bouillon. Add onions. stir. Add peppers & tomatoes. Don't overcook. Should be crunchy.

Chris Murphy: "It's just so disgusting to listen to the president be waxing poetically about the drapes he's buying while there are six Americans who are dead. There are six families who are about to bury their children because of a war of choice that no one in this country wanted, an illegal war."

Iran’s Short-Range Missiles and Drones Are Now a Regional Reality For two decades, Iran has developed and deployed an increasingly diverse array of missile systems that could alter warfare in the Middle East.

And a survey by Shahryar Pasandideh of Iran's short-range strike capabilities and their implications for the region, from back in October 2023.

Iran’s Attack Has Different Implications for Israel and the Gulf States There remains considerable uncertainty about Iran’s unprecedented attack on Israel using its missiles and drones.

The performance of Iran’s strike systems against Israel highlighted their limitations versus Israel’s air and missile defenses. However, "other countries in the region have little reason to take comfort in those limitations."

Another prescient one from April 2024, by Shahryar Pasandideh.

A Weakened Iran Doesn’t Mean a More Peaceful Middle East With regime change in Syria and Hezbollah weakened, Iran’s alliance system has nearly collapsed. That doesn’t mean a peaceful Middle East is emerging.

"Iran may up the ante by threatening to attack oil and gas infrastructures in the Persian Gulf and disrupt maritime shipping in the region, in the hopes of mobilizing de-escalation efforts by regional and global stakeholders."

A prescient one from January 2025 by Abolghasem Bayyenat.

Israel Has Learned the Wrong Lesson From Its Military Successes After a series of military successes, Israel now seems to believe there is no problem that cannot ultimately be solved by force alone.

"[T]here’s a difference between being inclined to prefer military force to diplomacy and convincing oneself there is no problem that cannot ultimately be solved by force alone. And Israel seems to have landed on the latter conviction."

- michael scherer at the atlantic
- jonathan karl, abc
- jake tapper, cnn
- axios
- bret baier, fox news
- the new york times
- the washington post

just noting that when he wants to sell a war, suddenly theyre not "fake news" anymore

Liberals, I promise you that no one has forgot about the Epstein files. Some people just have the ability to think about multiple things at one time.

US bombing children and other civilians for Israel is also very important.

This is so much more common than many people like to admit. Every time that police or policing supporters say "well I hope you don't ever need to call them," they are illustrating 2 things (1) they believe protection should be conditional on fealty and (2) we can't trust this system to protect us.

Can I also add that he thinks that’s what Obama did in killing Bin Laden. He is, at least partly, smarting at the WHCD joke. That might also explain why he is hot to trot to attend this year.

It might make people relate the word to something familiar, but masa is not derived from maize. It's from one of Nigeria's over 250 languages.

It's from the pan. There are special pans designed to have that effect, with many round compartments. I think the Dutch and Chinese have pans that could servethe same purpose. Probably many other nationalities as well.
