It's just super disappointing because I really loved the two fantasy au plushies I got from their first Kickstarter and I was really looking forward to these. I don't even want a refund (that money is two years gone). I just want the plushies.

And communication, for fuck's sake.

We’re trying. It’s been a strugglebus though. That’s why we’re making as much noise as we possibly can at this point.

I was also one of the people burned in this Kickstarter; and it’s super sus. I ordered one of their proposed Oboro plushies as a comfort item for medical appointments (which they knew and acknowledged). Sci was constantly saying how excited they were for me to get the plushie too.

I've emailed repeatedly just asking where the plushies physically are--because one was supposed to be done in April 2024. No response for months.

The email Sciquatic provided for contact is a black hole that no one ever replies to.

Sciquatic got over $15k from this Kickstarter. Not sure how much more from the website sales.

They shut down the Discord used for communicating with all backers in February 2025 after people started complaining about how there were no updates and minimal responses to refund requests.

I ordered a plushie last July (2024) that arrived yesterday.

I ordered two plushies last August (2024) that are on their way now.

I ordered two plushies from Sciquatic in July and August 2023(!) and not only are the plushies not here, but we haven't gotten a production update since July 2024.
