Yall should see this thread. I was also the ones that funded this and NOTHING no emails no communication at all. Like we get things happen but at this point it all feels like lies and that’s not ok.

My theory is that they used the money for medical bills (because they have had health issues) and were hoping to replace that money at cons (which they are continuing to sell at).

Either way, the money did not go the plushies.

There have certainly been theories that they used the money to buy a house (which they did sometime after the Kickstarter closed, can't rememberwhen exactly), instead of actually ordering the plushies.

It's just super disappointing because I really loved the two fantasy au plushies I got from their first Kickstarter and I was really looking forward to these. I don't even want a refund (that money is two years gone). I just want the plushies.

And communication, for fuck's sake.

I've emailed repeatedly just asking where the plushies physically are--because one was supposed to be done in April 2024. No response for months.

The email Sciquatic provided for contact is a black hole that no one ever replies to.

Sciquatic got over $15k from this Kickstarter. Not sure how much more from the website sales.

They shut down the Discord used for communicating with all backers in February 2025 after people started complaining about how there were no updates and minimal responses to refund requests.

I ordered a plushie last July (2024) that arrived yesterday.

I ordered two plushies last August (2024) that are on their way now.

I ordered two plushies from Sciquatic in July and August 2023(!) and not only are the plushies not here, but we haven't gotten a production update since July 2024.
