Grew to appreciate her allies, including Pocero. But her mission came first.

When Edwyn was killed, she was forced to reevaluate her purpose and meaning in life. Pocero was one of many who helped her through this time, and she grew fond of him and eventually fell in love with him.

To provide a bit more context, Vespyria wasn't too interested in any potential suitors in Terncliff or Eorzea. She was consumed by the search for her older brother. Love and even friendship were not on her radar. The latter came about as convenience at first with the Scions and she eventually-

Vespyria's first kiss was with Pocero, and they are still together.

I forgot to mention the braid. That's the hairstyle I go for in other games for her. Long flowy hair or her braid are the go-to.

Sitting in the void a chimera/miqote sits with their hands tangled in their hair, they wear a blue corset bodice with matching velvet shorts that show off their gold filigree markings.

All this to say that she is in her ideal form (my favorite) with FFXIV. The scales, the horns, the tail. I wish these things could follow her into other games, even if it would make little sense in their universe. Ah well. 🤭

It's interesting taking Vespy through different games and character creators. The red hair and green eyes are a must. Freckles are a nice bonus.

In BG3 and Dragon Age, she is typically an elf or half-elf.
In Dragon's Dogma 2, I made her a human and gave her scars where her scales should be.

Vespyria: Red hair and vibrant green eyes. Cream colored scales and fish-fin horns. Freckles.

#Mel'anie: Mint green hair and bulb horns. Striking purple eyes.

At the end of Dawntrail, she gives birth to their first child. She eases up on the dedicated training of her body and puts on a little more weight than before. She embraces a softer belly and is happier for it. Still just as strong, but treats herself with more grace and patience.

In late ARR, she starts the process of training her body by becoming a MNK. By the time StB begins, she is toned and buff.

I haven't decided how I want her to be affected by light poisoning in SHB, but it's something that has crossed my mind as it's such a strenuous and harrowing experience.

The most notable change in her lifetime is height. I headcanon that half-au ra/half-highlanders go through a painful and incredible growth spurt in their teens/early adulthood. Vespyria started this procress at 5'2 around her 16th nameday and reached 6'1 in her early 20s.
