After a lot of consideration, I've decided to suspend my campaign for Congress. Thank you to all the friends and supporters who believed in this campaign along the way- I'm so grateful.
Ready my full statement here:
I’m disgusted and horrified by the killing of another civilian by ICE in Minneapolis. What’s happening there is not making the community or our country safer. It’s time for ICE to leave Minneapolis and for our members of Congress to demand accountability.
On this day in 1973, Roe v Wade established reproductive freedom as the law of the land. It’s important to remember that the rights we fought for back then can be regained if we continue to fight, and not back down. I will always fight for reproductive freedom, no matter what.
She’s right— Zach Nunn and DC politicians are too worried about money and power, not what Iowans need.
It’s time for new leadership in Washington. If you want to help us make Iowans a priority again in Congress, go to jenniferkonfrst.com
Beyond remembering Dr. King today, we must use the example he set to fight for a better future.
Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his commitment to fighting for equality and justice for all. His legacy serves as a reminder that change is possible when we work for it, and stand for what is right.
IA-03 is a TOSSUP! Washington is catching up to what we’re seeing here on the ground: Zach Nunn is vulnerable and Iowans are ready for change. I’m ready to flip this seat and be the fighter that Iowans deserve— go to secure.actblue.com/donate/jktos... to chip in and help us win.
MercyOne in Ottumwa is closing at the end of next month. This is what happens when politics like Zach Nunn vote to gut our rural healthcare providers. We deserve better.
Back in session at the Iowa House! I can’t wait to continue my work for HD32 and keep delivering back for my district.
A US citizen was killed by ICE in the streets of Minneapolis. We deserve answers. We need an immediate, independent & complete investigation into this tragedy. Today’s actions did nothing to address immigration concerns & instead thrust this community into fear & grief.
As school starts back up for second semester, we need a representative in Congress who will lower costs for all Iowans, including our students. I will always stand up for students across the 3rd district in Congress.
We need our politicians be focused on the things that actually make our country safer and stronger— like unrigging our economy, investing in affordable healthcare, and bringing responsible leadership to Iowans in Washington.
Maduro has caused suffering to Venezuelans and Americans. However, our national security isn’t strengthened by plunging our country into another reckless and costly war.
No one wants our Iowa service members to be put at risk in another unconstitutional endless war waged without the consent of Congress or the American people they represent.
Iowans should be able to make their own healthcare decisions. I will always stand up for reproductive freedom in Congress.

Started my Thursday morning off with a roundtable discussion with a few Iowa farmers!
We talked tariffs, rural healthcare, economic development, and more. Thanks so much to Karen and Warren Varley for hosting us in Stuart!
As Hanukkah begins, we must affirm our commitment to fighting antisemitism and violence so that our Jewish neighbors can gather safely to celebrate what should be a time for family, community, resilience, and hope.
I was saddened and heartbroken to hear about yesterday’s terrorist attack in Australia at Bondi Beach. My heart and prayers go out to those affected and their families.
Thank you to everyone who braved the cold and ice to be at our town hall in Johnston today! I will always show up to answer your questions (even if the roads are bad😉)
My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the two Iowa National Guard soldiers killed in Syria today. Their sacrifice and service to our country will not be forgotten.
Iowans deserve a leader in Washington who will face this affordability crisis head on, not stay silent while the president denies the problem.
Honored to be a Candidate for Common Good! It's time for politics to start working for all Iowans again, not just the wealthy and well-connected
I’ll keep showing up, no matter what. This election is too important not to.

Had another great Town Hall today in Winterset! We deserve a representative who shows up and answers tough questions, and that’s exactly what I will keep doing in this race.
Thanks to everyone who came out to our Town Hall today in Ottumwa! If Zach Nunn won’t show up to answer your questions, I will.
Hear from Des Moines City Councilor Josh Mandelbaum about why he's on #TeamKonfrst:
"Jennifer brings people together to support solutions to our problems and get results for Iowans. She's the leader that we need in Congress."
Hear from former Iowa Attorney General Bonnie Campbell about why she's on #TeamKonfrst:
“Jennifer is exactly the kind of tough, principled fighter we need to beat Zach Nunn. Her work ethic is unmatched and so is her dedication to Iowans
Our nurses need union protections, and I will fight like hell with them until they get them. Proud to stand with Unity Point Nurses and Teamsters today! This fight is about fair pay, patient care, and making sure the nurses who take care of us are safe and supported in their workplaces.
A little snow can’t keep us off the doors for Renee Hardman! If you live in Senate District 16, make sure to get out and vote before or on December 30th!
While doing a Thanksgiving grocery run, all I could think about was how much more expensive things are compared to last year. Zach Nunn promised to bring down our costs in Iowa, but we’re not seeing it. We need to send someone to Congress who’s focused on making life more affordable for Iowans.
