I plan to do that very thing, though my first one will be down in Portland (in July btw). I already had my first full winter here. I was cold and wet for four months but did fine. No S.A.D., at least not this time. :)

True, and frustrating for some of the witnesses, I’m guessing. An object I saw when I was young, as vivid as the memory is, there was just no point of reference, just an amber object moving against a twilight sky. Would love to be able to add distance, and thus size, speed, etc. to this memory.

Totally and my first ever hardcore show! DKs, MDC, Butthole Surfers and two local punk bands. They didn’t hit the “stage” (dangerous homemade wooden thing) until about 2am. I was in a fantastic amount of trouble when I finally got home, which was another 90 min drive away. I’d just turned 17. 🏴‍☠️
