If the Trump Admin is successful at removing the ~4% of our workforce that is undocumented, there isn’t a corresponding number of Americans ready and willing to do all those jobs.

Which means some of our vital but uggggh jobs will not have laborers. We should be thankful instead of being jerks.

Checks and balances in the government also includes law enforcement because absolute power corrupts absolutely.

The Constitution is very clear.

We shouldn’t need to be lawyers. We need the lawyers + judges to do their jobs in a way that keeps the rule of law intact.

Journalists are not helping.

Is it on a pole?? We once used Vaseline on a pole to squirrel proof a bird feeder and it was great entertainment. We had to reapply as they were insistent and would eventually use up the Vaseline. But I cannot overstate the laughter of that process.

Maybe start casually dropping into social conversations that we are not under attack and due process is for all of us. Uphold the rule of law by adding it to a convo.

If you won’t call it a genocide (which it is, per the academics who study such things) at least call it a MEDIEVAL SIEGE.

I wish all those family values members of R leadership would do something to make this better. It’s fully within their control.
