Saw Fantastic 4 last night. Went in pretty blind. Fun time overall. Weirdly struck a tonal chord I was looking for in Superman, but that felt more authentically done here. Liked Silver Surfer’s movements. Liked the character dynamics. CGI & action scenes though… ehhh. Not a reason to rewatch.

Saw Superman last night at the Alamo. Very good time. Did find myself more critical of some things than maybe most of the people around me. Certain aspects of the performances and some of the CGI (maybe after just seeing Final Reckoning) took me out a bit. But looking forward to what’s to come.

I’d probably wait until everything’s settled up, but it’s a good idea. In general, focusing in on actors’ careers is something I want to be doing more of. Only trouble is that they’re expensive videos to produce. Requires soooo many separate movie clips. Fun though.
