Honestly I've yet to play any Paper Mario game, so I don't know too many of the non-partner characters 😅
I also just think Vivian's neat, especially after what I've seen of her in the TTYD remake.

I saw a meme on Discord of Vivian from Paper Mario dropping a grenade, and I thought "what if she was throwing one instead?"

If there's anything I want out of the new Tomodachi Life game, it'd be the Miitopia remake's makeup features. People got incredibly creative with that system, and it was honestly a main selling point for me, plus it'd make the game a LOT goofier than it seems to be.
