Honestly, I love these if their in mint condition (meaning they probably had to stay most of their life in box) the only problem with making these was is they aged horribly like they’d just yellow unless it was already yellow red or any other darker colour

Most of these tools are very good and will last you a while like the liner brushes, wire and paints

I thought about it and here’s the bare essentials of making a garage kit I think for newbies. Some notes I didn’t add

1. Not accounting for pliers or other cutting tools purely bc you probably have one if you have it kicking about (plus dish soap can clean a kit)

2. Needs to be synthetic brushes

Hey it’s ok! Newbies really do fear this stuff and it’s not helped a lot by the pros going “YOU NEED WHOLE TAMIYA TOOLBOX DAY ONE OR ELSE YOU WILL DIE!!!!!!”

You don’t even need to commit to a paint gun if you don’t want, you can hand paint with a brush

And hey. Most kit fuck ups can be easily fixed, mess up the paint? Can be stripped easily, pin wrong? That’s ok putty it up leave it to dry and try again, break a part off? Uhu glue should fix any minor breaks
