I started today with a fucking dystopian text message from the blood bank I donated to, saying 'happy birthday, thank you for making birthdays possible for others' in some kind of guilt trip to harvest my blood again and yeah that tracks at this point my existence is just a resource for others lol

Coming to terms with the fact that most help offered amounts to wishful thinking when it's actually called upon, or comes with a change in the terms at the last minute. Grateful for the few that buck the trend in one way or another. It's rare and special.

If it were easy everyone would do it. Anything worthwhile is a pain in the ass or scary. Stop avoiding the process and do it badly, do it scared, and do it without knowing what the fuck you're doing while figuring it out along the way.

Spend the time you would have spent watching it/wanting to vomit and scream making a donation to somewhere in Minnesota, or if you can't, researching where you can help locally.

Here's a handy video of some warm-up exercises you can do to help get yourself prepared to shovel! Obviously, adjust them to your fitness level, but the main goal is get yourself warmed up for physical activity. You can't go from 0 to 60 here, & you'll get a better idea of what you can handle!

Easily one of the best aurora nights I've ever had! Took almost 1500 photos, ate through a battery and a half, and didn't get back until after dawn. Finally got a chance to get them off the camera today 🌌💚💖
