i rly do have empathy for a lot of twitter fans bc twitter *the site* is explicitly coded to cause as much rage and misery as possible. so people who have the most miserable takes (even if they're not really based in anything) get lots of attention and it brings down the mood of the whole place lol
so yes... the tattoo must stay on the guy. they must continue meeting. bc they've finally reached the point of understanding that they dont need to do anything dramatic to be on equal footing... just let satomi pay for dessert...
if we look back to karaiko's ending too it really seems to mean a lot to him... why else would he show it to satomi with such a reverent look on his face...
like, sure, maybe satomi is uncomfortable with the tattoo, but kyouji clearly isn't. the face he makes when satomi asks him to get rid of it is so similar to the face he makes when satomi tells him he doesn't want to see him again...
i dont remember who said it (sorry...!!) but someone was saying recently how satomi asking for kyouji to remove the tattoo was like, his final selfish act, before he fully realizes kyouji is his own person...

obv everyone's free to do w/e but my brain cannot comprehend a reading of karaiko where kyouji approaches satomi w/ intent to abuse... that's why analyzing it through a textbook grooming perspective doesn't work for me at all. are there elements of it? yes ofc but w/o intent it's far from simple
