And I MEAN *bones*, there is an entire class that crashes the game if it so much as spawns in the lobby and they just have to reroll.

I do not do this, because I have very solidly and intentionally moved on and know it would be bad for my mental health to go near whatever the game looks like now, but despite the near complete destruction of this thing some people who love it are still very excited to go play weekly in its bones.

I used to play a niche multiplayer social deduction game designed for lobbies of 16. It -actually- died. Like, updates stopped, community bled out and solo developer sold it to people who didn't understand it and ran away died.

That's literally why it was there. I did that with all of the characters who had lines that I thought might be problematic so that anyone auditioning would know what they were going to voice and to what extent it would go. I didn't want anyone to feel uncomfortable or wish they could back out.

I mean, genuinely correct decision to have a Walking Content Warning character display that fact in their audition material for the actors' sake

Now to be fair I don't think 'talking' is an instant disqualifier. You can do talking animals and make them great - Baldur's Gate 3 has 50 of them.
