Thanks for sharing. NYT baffles me with its own naivete. Publishing pieces like this only platforms authors' own agenda.

This Op/Ed was poorly vetted. It lacks the elements of Rigor and Robustness that NIH utilizes. If actual reporting had been involved, I would have hoped to see a retraction. 🤦‍♂️

Angus the baby Cape Clawless Otter is rubbing noses with Julie

Yay Otters! We helped care for one at the Umoya Khulula Wildlife Rehab Center this past summer. Angus the Cape Clawless Otter was orphaned and will need several more months of care there. He is a sweet, sweet pup. I cannot recommend a better trip to take, learn, and give back than this one was.
