As someone with ME/CFS my entire life is "rational assessment of the threat environment," because I walk a daily tightrope of illness management.

I don't have the luxury of ignoring the science, which overwhelmingly proves the threat of covid is still very real.

That's not fear, it's fact.

Carving out the people who are taking seriously the measurable and well-documented half-decade-old ongoing threat to your health as “Covid forever dead enders” is just your own way of being “antivax”.

Same assed mindset because you don’t wanna, don’t care, and *need* to poop in the public well.😤💪

People are VERY huffy and stompy about this post but just as an inside opinion from someone in LC community, It’s hard to believe there is solidarity with the disabled and high risk people who need to avoid covid when our one primary ask is met with accusations that, hey, maybe we’re just CRAZY?

All I want in life is to persuade everyone, when encountering politics & culture, to ask, "why are we talking about this?" I mean that very literally: anything you encounter on your screens reflects a choice. Someone covered that, talked about that, rather than the many other things out there. Why?

OK so I read through this study, and here are my conclusions:
- What a cool tech to examine epigenetic factors so closely!
- This is a small study
- This only differentiates severe-presenting patients from healthy controls; hasn't been used to diagnose ME/CFS *versus* other inflammatory illness. 🧪
