You can’t influence a large swath of other people, but you can influence the people around you. Tell other people about the idea of resistance calisthenics, so that they even know where to start.
Snagging an office pen, taking extra time on a break (on purpose), whatever. Starting small.

Yeah, part of that is what I mean by the calisthenics of resistance- they’ve never stretched that muscle, so they don’t know how to use it. They don’t practice any smaller resistances in their daily life, either, so they don’t know where to start.
I think it’s lack of training. You need to be *trained* to do the kind of resistance you’re talking about. Lots of community orgs do it, but not everyone goes to the community orgs, they just show up.
People need to practice their calisthenics of resistance.
The people who care about you have resonated far enough that I don’t know who you are, but I know that people love your work and care about you enough to say so!
