Excellent. And good luck with the classic whisky hangover of an undersized brain banging about your skull.

Sueno's Stone. The image shows a view from slightly below of a tall transparent box supported by metal corner pillars and frame. Within the box is a tall carved stone with row upon row of carved figures in a very complex arrangement. There’s a low wall to the left with a seat and houses in the background. The scene is in sunlight.

The intricately carved 21ft high Sueno's Stone, standing on the edge of Forres in Moray, is the largest and most spectacular of the many carved stones that have survived from the early medieval period in Scotland. More pics and info: www.undiscoveredscot...

Just done the tourist thing in #NYC. Brilliant but bonkers place. Enjoyed my wee homage to Beastie Boys Square. Paul's Boutique is an all time classic.

The right-wing campaign group that helped topple Roe v Wade in the US is now working to roll back abortion laws in the UK, with the help of Nigel Farage.

Its first step? Trying to create a debate around "free speech"

This is a lie.

There are many criticisms you might sensibly and truthfully make of the Sentencing Council and the Sentencing Guidelines. I’ve been making them for years.

But this is an outright lie. Pure fabrication. A fraud on the public.

Seton Collegiate Church in East Lothian. The image shows a honey-coloured stone church. The transepts, tower and choir survive, the latter being on the right. The tower has a truncated stump of a spire on top of it. There are trees on both sides and grass in the foreground. The sky is blue.

It takes a little finding but is well worth the effort. The unusual Ardclach Bell Tower, in a remote upland area south east of Nairn, was built in 1655. Originally a fortified retreat, it later became a detached bell tower for a nearby church. More pics and info: www.undiscoveredscot...

Ozzy is one of like 3 people in Decline of Western Civilization Part 2 that comes off as a decent human being and I always love the scene where Penelope Spheeris interviews him making breakfast while he explains the ups and downs of the business.

Whoa.

That's a sprite, an elusive, high-altitude electrical discharge from a thundercloud photographed by NASA astronaut Nichole Ayers from the ISS earlier today.

With reported sightings going back more than a century, this phenomenon was first photographed in 1989.

With full credit to Pie and Bovril's excellent HibeeJibee, the first captain and only seventh player to win the Scottish Cup with two different non-Old Firm clubs (Steve Banks, Craig Conway, Johnny McNaught, Jimmy Oswald, Tom Robertson, Andy Webster... and now Graeme Shinnie).
