“Oh, no worries!”

*disembodied voice of Morgan Freeman:
“He had, in fact, many worries, none of which he could voice aloud.”

2/2 Clockwise from the top of the picture, we have Ghost, Dandelion, Marigold, and Mouse. They’re about 7 months at this point, and I’m working with some local rescues to get them all fixed and vaxxed. So yeah, looks like Waltimus Maximus has some more friends to play with!

Hey y’all! Sorry I’ve been absent so long, but current events have really driven me off most social media sites. But I had to share this with y’all… I was able to trap the neighborhood semi-feral, but not before she’d dropped these little guys at my door! 1/2

VA candidate for AG, he made some comments to another lawmaker over text that should legitimately be disqualifying for any AG candidate.

To be loved is to be changed. Back when he was still a fat-faced feral, old Sadface here was first loved by his community feeder, Emerson. She rescued him and took him to the vet when he developed a blockage and stopped eating. She saved his life then, so he could enjoy the life he has now.

Missy the green eyed bobtail looking off into the distance with her paws crossed in front of her

Being obsessed with cats doesn’t make you “crazy.” It makes you smart, compassionae, likely with an amazing sense of humor. Some say cat people are even better looking and more successful. See source of info in photo. 😉

I’m sorry to have offended you to the point that you blocked me.

Your comment that I first replied to was something to the effect of “Biden’s staff should have used their powers of the acting shadow presidency to arrest half the Supreme Court (along with all of Trump’s cronies)”. Or did you mis-speak there?

That is great to hear!! Keep on fighting, Missy!!

And many Christians believe that Trump and Musk are heralds of the anti-Christ. Christianity isn’t an inherently political set of beliefs. Many of those who fight for civil rights do so because those rights are rooted in a Christian view of the inherent dignity of every human being.

And if you commit crimes against the constitution and violate the civil rights of those traitors, then by definition you are also guilty of treason. Two wrongs do not make a right.

Yes, that’s not a relevant example of using dictatorial powers to control and punish the German people post-war.

East Germany was occupied by the dictatorship of the Soviet Union. West Germany was a free and sovereign nation with western allied troops based there to counter the Soviet threat. Not a relevant example.

While this is true, please bear in mind that this also applies both ways. If we destroy the constitution ourselves in the process of fighting fascism, then we have become the very thing we are trying to fight.

I’m not saying both sides are equally bad in their objectives. I’m saying that once you start justifying violating the constitution because you think the ends justify the means, it’s a slippery slope straight into tyranny.

Arguing that the president’s staff should extrajudicially arrest and prosecute the Supreme Court without due process is tyranny. There’s no way around that, and if that’s what you want then you’re just as bad at MAGA.

I’m not a troll OR a bot, and unlike you I’m not hiding behind an anonymous historic profile pic. Did you see the post I responded to? The one saying that Biden staffers should have used their powers as “acting shadow president” to arrest and convict half the Supreme Court?

If it’s tyranny when Trumpers do it, then it’s tyranny when his opposition does it.

You’re right, it’s not…. So long as they are afforded due process and punished within the bounds of our system of constitutional law. Once you step outside that, it becomes tyranny. You think tyranny is only tyranny when it’s done by actual traitors?

The problem isn’t Christianity, or belief in God. #ItsTheFascism

I agree we need to fight P2025 style Christofascism. But what the way you’re talking makes me think you want P2029 Atheofascism.

You may not believe in God, but a majority of Americans do. Please do not mock our faiths.

The Allies didn’t set up dictatorships to rule the formerly Axis nations. Nor did they resort to the same atrocities as the Axis nations did, even as retaliation for the horrors they witnessed.

How can you not see that this is exactly the same argument that Trump supporters use to justify and excuse his complete destruction of the constitutional order? All you are doing here is sending us further down the road of tyranny, just with different people in charge.

No. Stop. That is tyranny.

Don’t you agree though that arguing for an all-powerful president/king is the completely wrong way to govern a nation?

This is tyranny.

I’m sorry, but I cannot support or agree with anyone whose argument is “the enemy used authoritarian powers to achieve their goals; we need to do the same to achieve ours.”
