I’m not Hamilton’s biggest fan but he has genuine talent and it’s good to see him break his bogey and get back on the podium.
I still believe that Hamilton will always beat Leclerc over the course of a season because Lewis is so consistent.
Anyhow, glad to hear the reverse Schumacher on the podium for Antonelli.
Indeed.
It is always fun when F1 races are being contested by two people who know who Stewart White is.
Can we not compromise with an otter dressed up like Churchill, it could smoke a cigar
To be fair to Audi, their “Sport” brand is red. As far as I can tell from the people who carve me up on the motorway.
All I remember is that it was always deserted. And going to the food court added another 5-10 mins round trip to your already too short lunch break. (And was always rammed)
I suspect like you say that TVC and the Westfield expansion have massively changed the provision there. Although it still seems too long a walk from White City Place to Westfield for lunch. You’d think that some options there could survive.
I worked round there before the Westfield expansion was built (we were kicked out our office which is now somewhere in womenswear at John Lewis), and it was dire back then. You had the couple of options near the bus station (BK? KFC?) or a long walk into the food court.
I think it had an effect on all of us, but I do think as time goes by it feels more like a dream
Oh true. I wonder how much of it was morale boosting through.
Comical but I can kinda understand it. It’s the biggest restriction in our liberties… maybe ever? At least since the end of the feudal system. At least in the Second World War you could travel around if you didn’t mind a bomb on your head.
It seemed impossible it could go on for long.
Surely it's more likely you'd be at the wrong terminal, and so T5 International Arrivals would be more useful than Heathrow?
This is seemingly common in Japan. I thought it was confined to transport hubs as I saw it in Shinjuku station, but it definitely goes wider than that.
(Transport working timetables have often used 25hrs and similar for clarity)
Wuppertal is good fun. Slightly weird and the train is tiny but they play on it quite a bit.
The first annual Montgomery Burns award for outstanding achievement in the field of excellence
Also, very sad to hear that Rob Grant has died. Backwards was always one of my favourite Red Dwarf books because I think Rob did comedy better.
Japan.
Everything is there, but calmer, quieter and safer than elsewhere.
Not as overwhelming as expected in a good way.
I think I might have to cancel my Flickr Pro subscription. I've just not used it much for the last five years or so and it's no longer a place I visit much as the usability is pretty awful.
I wonder how long before they start doing it on the news.
About to cross the international date line for the first time ever.
Wow my British airways flight is delayed! How usual.
Why hasn't Disney used the Muppets to duplicate what Warner Bros. did with Lego movies? We could be 10 episodes deep into Muppet Star Wars, Muppet Marvel, Muppet Indiana Jones. Hell, Muppet Avatar would make more sense than the actual series.
i am not on here for “influence,” I am on here to make my friends that live in my phone go “hehe” when they read the dumb little thoughts that i needed to write out and put somewhere
They're advertising a think on the train here in Tokyo called AI DIC.
Isn't that Elon Musk?
I will never not be surprised by this.
They released this like this
Why would anyone ever drive a car by people who do not Look At MEASUREMENTS
This social media ban stuff is designed to try and stop younger people coming out as trans isn’t it
This is the review that got me blacklisted by EA. Some shitbag executive wanted me fired.
