20.06.2025 04:40 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I'm not sure where I'll land next. Honestly, I'm kind of happy to take a break from work to catch up on some reading, spend time with my pups, and prep for my next D&D campaign. To whatever adventures await, cheers!
18.06.2025 01:34 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I know the D&D space can be so toxic at times. But there are real people behind that social media post and article and video. They all really give a shit and love this game as much as you do. So, be nice to them. They're my friends.
18.06.2025 01:34 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I am so honored to have worked alongside some really passionate and nerdy writers. It's funny, Mike Bernier and I were just celebrating our 1,000th (by rough estimates) article yesterday. That's a lot of words to write and edit for this dorky little game of dragons and elves.
18.06.2025 01:34 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yesterday was my last day at D&D. I was laid off along with a few other folks. I'm proud of the work I put out over these past 4+ years. I had the privilege of leading editorial and SEO for D&D Beyond, and helping develop marketing strategy for some kickass books coming down the line.

Most pieces fall between 1,200-2,000 words. I highly recommend reviewing our articles to see if this is the kind of content you'd enjoy writing:

I'll also add that with the 2024 core rulebooks coming out later this year, I'm really looking for writers who would love digging into those books and writing about them!

You should be comfortable with:
- Following a strict style guide
- Receiving revisions*
- Turning in pieces on time
- Communicating when something comes up
- Providing fact check links, when needed
* I aim for max two rounds of revisions. Expect at least one every time.

I will not accept any work created using generative AI. It is banned at every step of our editorial process. 3/7

26.04.2024 01:07 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Repost from X: I'm looking for freelance writers for D&D Beyond articles. You should be highly knowledgeable of the fifth edition D&D ruleset, and regularly turn in relatively clean copy. 1/7
26.04.2024 01:07 โ ๐ 10 ๐ 8 ๐ฌ 9 ๐ 2Google has an overall pretty rosy stance on AI usage, imo. But I appreciate that they are taking some steps to show that well-written, well-researched, and well-edited content is still valuable. Let's just hope this is reflected in this update. (4/4)

08.03.2024 00:38 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Google's rolling out some new updates, so web traffic and rankings will be haywire for a few weeks. It is noteworthy that this update punishes what is in most cases AI-generated content that is churned out to try and quickly capture rankings (1/4)
08.03.2024 00:38 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Being a DM can be stressful and a lot of work. But then you get those nights where the roleplay flows easily, you hit all your story beats, and the party cheers as the boss goes down in a fight, and it's such a rewarding experience.
