The Computer-Science Bubble Is Bursting Artificial intelligence is ideally suited to replacing the very type of person who built it.

Some irony in that multiple engineers/computer scientists have confidently told me that the solution to our university’s budget crisis is to “close the humanities and social sciences.”

This is, of course, silly; all disciplines are critical and important.
