I am quite literally the opposite of all of these things.

We will see if my morals cause my plans to fall apart, but I still think about that one time 8 years ago I tripped over someone's cat. I literally couldn't live with myself if I fucked over a friend like the industry has been doing lately

I'm confident I could effectively choose a very small, very dedicated team of individuals that if I just treat them right, will be willing to grow past any internal conflicts. And I plan on treating them WELL.

There are plenty of potential problems, like what if one employee thinks another doesn't deserve his percentage because they aren't working hard enough? I've never liked large crowds, I doubt I'd grow my team beyond the number of fingers I have.

Ideally this would encourage employees not only to take care of themselves, knowing a paycheck will still be there if they need to slow down for a couple of weeks, but also to GIVE their best when they have it, knowing their efforts will eventually be directly paying them even after release.

If possible, I would like to pay everyone a fair wage to work on whatever game is on the table, but after it's done I would like to treat the IP as jointly owned among all employees, Musicians keep rights to their music, artists keep their names on their works, and everyone gets a lil slice of pie.

I've never liked the idea of being filthy rich, but I would like to make amazing games, full of all the sheer artistic might of every genius I know, if possible I would like each game to be employee owned.

Contracts might be an obvious solution, give them clear start and end terms. But people, including myself, desire stability, so contract positions might work against you. The thing is, as a solo dev I stand to make ALL the money from any game I make, but why does it have to be just me.
