Hacking has a bad reputation. And in many cases well earned. But did you know that hacking is now a legit career choice? #tech #career #hacking

Such a simple yet powerful thought. Just imagine if...
Free speech and free expression are not a left or right thing ... they're an American thing the world has long envied. We cannot jeopardize what was long fought for and still must be.
Smile-worthy story. I love the Wayback Machine and have used it more than once to find pages in a website I no longer own. History deserves to be preserved and not deleted or tampered with just to serve political purposes.
There are some technologies that also offer business opportunities we need to take far more seriously...
One more reason we need to keep funding medical research, even if we can't be sure where each and every bit if research will eventually wind up. Science is not the enemy. It holds the key to finding cures for people we love!
So true, Maria! Something that's easy for other folks to forget. And even I forget sometimes when making plans. :)
Healthy eating is often prescribed as a way to help safeguard & enhance #health. And for someone like me with #ME/CFS it can be key to daily energy. But it ain't easy figuring out what "eating healthy" in all its combinations and permutations actually means for you!

Is it a hummingbird? No! It's a weird (but highly useful) moth.

AI gives us easy answers, though not always totally right ones. But no easy answers for the soaring energy needs they require.
We can't always stop cruelty, but we can continue to shine a bright light on it.
I so get that, Kristin. I blame a lot on screwed-up circadian rhythms. I know that doesn't answer in a way that's useful, but it's the best answer I've found. I like to tell my body "If you can do this now you can do it during the day!" Alas it doesn't usually listen. But oh how sweet when it does!

This is sad and unnecessary. The tiniest increase in upper tax brackets can help put food in hungry bellies. And help sustain small farms and hardworking farmers throughout this country.

Interesting segment from Science Friday on childhood trauma. Unfortunately, existing research has a number of flaws but there is some potential good news about mitigating factors.

Good post with helpful how-tos! "If you can find a strong ally, supporter, cheerleader, or advocate inside the company with an opening, it will increase the odds of your resume getting reviewed."
Thanks for finding this, Dorlee! Setting boundaries ... so difficult for some and yet so essential.
