Boneshaker Books temporary hours update! Friday 12/5: opening late! 2pm-8pm. Saturday, 12/6: 11am-5pm. Sunday, 12/7: 11am to 5pm. Regular hours resume on Monday, 12/8!

Slight hours change for this weekend; we'll be opening at 2pm on Friday 12/5 so be sure to adjust your plans accordingly! Hope everyone's staying warm out there!

THANK YOU! Wow!! Just two weeks after announcing Boneshaker’s plans to move, we are so thrilled and grateful that we’ve already reached our initial fundraising goal of $15,000! To anyone who has donated, shared our story and campaign, or stopped by the store: THANK YOU!! You are directly responsible for making this move a reality.

With the move itself now fully funded, we’re increasing our goal to $20,000 so we can start working towards longer-term projects and goals in the new space. This additional $5,000 will support the ongoing stability of Boneshaker and help us save for larger-scale improvements to the space, including improving the accessibility of the bathroom and making the meeting and print spaces the best they can be.

We’re keeping our fundraising page live until November 30 (which also means you have plenty of time to snag some cool limited-edition perks!) In the meantime, we’ll be busy packing up the store and getting to moving! Our last day in our Seward location will be October 24 with plans to reopen at 708 W. 26th St. on October 31! Boneshaker Books is moving!

Why move? While we love a lot about our current location, we’ve struggled with dwindling foot traffic, low sales, and expensive maintenance issues. We believe our new space will offer resources that will allow us to exist more sustainably as a community organization for the long haul.

How can I help? Our goal is to raise $15,000 total to fund the move, make some improvements to the new space, and build out our inventory. Ultimately, we need at least $6,000 by October 17th so we can reopen in our new space at 708 W 26th St. by around November 1st.
