In victory for Democrats, Virginia Supreme Court says redistricting vote can go forward Voters will get to decide on a proposed “10-1” map that could deliver four more Democratic seats in Congress.

WIN: The Virginia Supreme Court authorized an April special election in which voters will decide whether the state should redraw its congressional map to counter GOP gerrymanders.


If passed, Democrats could gain four more seats in Congress, leaving Republicans with just one of 11 seats.

Democrats should propose amendments to the SAVE act that require the government to furnish free IDs to all eligible voters before requiring them, automatically register all people to vote, expand mail-in voting, and create a national voting holiday. Then watch republicans block them.
