Sadly, in section 2, it states in the positive that males can vote. It didn’t explicitly say women could not, but it did allow for women to be treated unequally despite the clarity of section one.

Corporate “personhood” was never meant to serve as a constitutional doctrine for political rights.

The Constitution was written for people — living, breathing citizens — not artificial entities.

Black people and women fit this description and should have been included.

As long as corporations have free speech, Congress can require:
• real-time reporting
• donor transparency
• reporting of pass-through contributions
• limits on political spending for certain nonprofit categories

These will be challenged, of course.

In the 1800s, courts treated corporations as “artificial persons” to:
• own property
• enter contracts
• sue and be sued
• be held liable

1st to reverse in the Supreme Court is that artificial personhood includes free speech.
Next? Corporations don’t have to answer anything per 5th amendment?

Reminder to groups working on good causes, don’t hire ad agencies and marketing that treat people who donate as stupid.
