🟥 Wirtz Issues Defined By Gravenberch Role
🗣️ Molby: "If Wirtz has got to be in and around the team, and we talk about the freedom of Gravenberch to go and join in, I think we have to reign that in and go, "You're not a six, Ryan." We all know he's not a six, but you have to play as a six."
He did, but Henderson makes a great save from Wirtz; and whoever it was left the sneaky foot on Isak saved them in the second.
Curtis and Dom are the only ones who can pass under pressure. Mac, even when fit can't do it particularly well and Grav can only beat that 1st line of press with his running. They're both much better higher up the pitch.
Yeah I get what your saying, but what I'm getting at is that sloppy moments are to be expected. Your more forgiving depending on the game state. You'll ignore loads of bad play at 3-0 up that will wind you up when your 1 nil down. I'm giving palace credit too they executed perfectly in the 1st half.
That's been exactly my takeaway too to be honest. All sorts of things colour our perceptions of performance. The 1st half was so bad that it was anger inducing. Hard to see straight after that. Palace were excellent in the 1st half, we were just as good as that in the second half.
Probably deserved to lose just on the paucity of that 1st half performance alone. However it'll probably get lost amongst all the recrimination and finger pointing, the 2nd half was very good... Until it wasn't. #LFC
The Jones/Szobozlai double pivot is so much better progression wise than Grav/Mac and it's not even close.
I'd go as far to say we've been really good this half. Very unlucky not to have 2. An equaliser wouldn't be undeserved at this point.
We've been a lot better in the second half.
“Let’s call it for what it is: bullshit. The truth is, politicians have talked about little else but immigration for decades and in the most dehumanising ways.
Polanski added: “Stop the boats’ is all we hear. Well, today I'm saying ‘stop the bullshit’.”

The way Salah is treated by referee's is absolutely scandalous.
Thought the Premier League would be entertaining this season because each team had the potential to be good, but instead it's been good to watch because every team is bad.
Hoping that this 1st half was a nadir for the team. Can't possibly be as bad as that 2nd half can we? Ibu, Bradley and Mac all having shockers. Gomez, Frimpong and Jones on please. #LFC
I am opposed to mandatory digital ID - people should be able to go about their daily lives without such infringements.
That aside, by calling it BritCard, the Prime Minister seems to be attempting to force every Scot to declare ourselves British.
I am a Scot. 🏴

I've got a similar video in my album. Such a beautiful place.
Happy Birthday Tracey and Congratulations on overcoming your performance anxiety. All of us who are grateful and music for your talent are delighted to hear this.

Shame on those who stayed
Labour’s plan for compulsory digital ID risks creating a more authoritarian state.
Under constant surveillance, we would have to pass through digital checkpoints just to live our daily lives — with even more barriers for minorities, migrants and the digitally excluded.
No, I haven't but with the political direction of travel in the current climate, I'm pretty sure that moment is not far away. So if there's a new political movement being born should I not stand up against those within that movement who don't consider universal human rights a necessity?
My position is explicitly, 'be part of the process that sets the party's direction'. I would never blindly follow something I believed to be wrong, I disaffiliated myself from Labour for that exact reason. The party's constitution doesn't exist. There has to be a process to build it democratically.
And I unaffiliated myself with the Labour Party years ago for precisely these reasons.
I can only imagine Shane and it breaks my heart that that's your experience. I'm not your enemy. If YP turns out the way you think it will, rest assured I won't be part of it... But while it's constitution is undecided, I think it's worth fighting for what I believe it should be. 🕊️
What I'm saying Rob is that the party's core hasn't been decided yet, If it does become what you've said, I wouldn't be part of it. So I want LGBTQ voices in the room. It's not magnamity, it's refusing to write a good idea (a member led party) off because I'm presuming it's direction.
There are immigrant members in reform mate. Doesn't seem to have made them any nicer, but there's is an autocratic party structure.
I completely agree with you Jeffery. I was an affiliated member of the Labour party from when I was 16, I'm disgusted by what Starmer has done to the party. I want deeply for LGBTQ voices to have a say in the founding of an inclusive party and I've no problem telling that to any bigots I encounter.
I think the dye is already cast for reform so why would I waste my time? But surely you can see the distinction between a party founded by millionaires to push a hyper neo-liberalist agenda and a foundling party that is attempting to have it's members decide what it is?
