Bb has become mobile and crawls himself to the books and picks them out now. He picks same books again and again and as much as I appreciate the very hungry caterpillar and his beautiful food/body journey I cannot read the same book to him 3 times a day! I started doing cliffsnotes version of it

Mum just can’t stop herself from asking a discount at shops. ‘I’m paying by cash, no discount??’ Then I literally see a sign at the counter ‘pls don’t ask us for a discount’ just #ajummathings

Usually he (sometimes also me) needs to take a shower, we need to wash bottles/sterilise, prep solids for baby… and once my folks leave I guess more housework maybe like cooking food for us to eat later… laundry…

We still haven’t finished latest season of the bear. We put bb to sleep then are technically free from 8pm onwards (usu we head to bed 10pm, we party animals etc) but BUT do we achieve any fun thing in those 2 hours? Very very rarely…

What kinda psychos in our neighborhood are having karaoke party on a Wednesday night!????!?!?

It’s weird like I don’t want to go back to full(ish) time work but at the same time whole day w bb is a bit repetitive and boring???? Hmmmm???

E has seemingly unlimited arsenal of children’s songs I am in awe… even Korean children’s songs I only know a handful I think ?

Extremely grateful that my mum is here to be cool to sit w baby monitor after we put bb to sleep, dash out for 2.5 hrs, enjoy a nice meal at a cool suburb 30min drive away. Also v v grateful to my bb who sleeps 🥹🥹

Tried this vegan taqueria and it was kind of great? lots of fake meat/fish I’d never tried before (i just needed dairy free mainly but this makes life a bit easier) and shocked how similar they taste to the real thing like ‘crispy duck’ and ‘salmon’ ceviche
